Flood Flow Video
This video, created by Lynas Engineers utilising MicroDrainage FloodFlow software, demonstrates the first steps in identifying flood paths on proposed developments given the site specific drainage constraints.
The flow paths identify high risk areas where SuDS features should be utilised, where attenuation should be installed or where potential developments should be built up.
The means of establishing flood paths at the early stages of design can assist our clients in developing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports for planning; as well as helping to identify cost measures in order to mitigate risk to any building/infrastructure proposals.
Flood paths can also be determined at a later stage to demonstrate to the Local Water Authority that flooding to properties will be avoided during more serious storm events (e.g. 1 in 100 +CC%).
Wind Farm Proposal – InfraWorks Video
This visualisation was created by Lynas Engineers using Autodesk InfraWorks 360 software to provide a realistic vision of a Wind Farm Proposal.
Design parameters can be set in Infraworks then this information can be transferred directly to Autodesk Civil3D for detailed design. The survey data was provided by Aerial Optics, an extremely professional team of Engineers that fly drones, who knew exactly what data we required to design the site.
Road Junction Design – InfraWorks Video
This visualisation was created by Lynas Engineers using Autodesk InfraWorks 360 software to provide a realistic vision of the proposed project.
The preliminary 2D design was developed into a 3D model using Autodesk Civil3D software for design checks; road markings were incorporated using Line Design Pro from Design Pro Software.
