Tees Valley Mayor Visits Lynas Engineers

Lynas Engineers was delighted to welcome to our offices the Tees Valley Mayor – Ben Houchen – to showcase our capabilities and discuss the opportunities and benefits for businesses in the region.

As a growing Teesside company, we believe the support of Ben is crucial in helping to develop businesses in the region and boost the local economy, which was why it was so great for us to get the chance to meet him.

We were able to give him a tour of our office and facilities as well as discuss opportunities for moving the company forward with improved planning and procurement processes. We were also able to share our ideas to support the growth of other local businesses in the area.

Our cutting-edge technology for a company of our size is what really sets Lynas apart and we were thrilled to get the chance to demonstrate this to Ben. Our 3D visualisation technology allows us to work alongside planners and architects to virtually construct a project in a real world. Seeing how a project would work in a real world simulation shows us any issues that previously we could not see.

Speaking about the visit Ben Houchen said: “One of my main goals as Mayor is support local SMEs so they can grow. Companies like Lynas Engineers are at the heart of our economy and when they grow we all stand to benefit by boosting our economy and creating jobs.

“Lynas Engineers is a great example of a young, local company using innovative technology to stand out in the market and gain recognition throughout the region.”

We look forward to continuing our growing success over the years and would like to thank Ben for his support and time.
